We had our radiator replaced and our steering pump replaced. This was over $1,000. However, the car is not leaking fluids anymore, so that is good. The reason why I only gave 3 stars is because when we picked up our car last Tuesday (or Wednesday?) we were told we would get a phone call the next day from the lady that was there when we dropped off the car and the one that was helping us. My husband had further questions about possible oil leaks. We never did. We were also told she could talk to the mechanic that worked on our and let us know if it is in poor, fair, or good condition. It is a 15-year-old car so we know it's going to have problems. (Even though we've always had it serviced with oil changes and fluids replaced regularly.) Just since July, however, we have paid $4,900 just to Lee's Auto for repairs. We could barely sell the car for that much at this point. So we are nervous that this will be the new normal for this car. I understand that there's no way to tell us how long a car will last. But surely, a good mechanic could tell us if it is poor, fair, or decent condition?

I did appreciate the honesty, they checked my brakes thinking I needed a brake job, you told me the brakes looked fine. 2 nd issue was that I thought the spare tire underneath the van was seized up in place. They told me the release mechanism was working but would not release the tire and refers me to a chrysler dealer. I took a look at it tonight and after 20 minutes had the tire released, using a screwdriver to pry the release open. I sprayed it with WD 40 and it works good, I ended up buying a used rim and new tire from Dicount tire for about 100 dollars which I don't need anymore. You guys are a full service auto repair shop, you could have fixed it for me, remember I'm from Minnesota and had limited tools also I see you had a 25 dollar off coupon for new customers, I wish you would have say something about it. Thank you

Thank you for your review Rich. I have discussed your spare tire issue with my service manager and reviewed the information on the invoice regarding this. Our concern centered around the large amounts of rust present on this vehicle. Because of that we felt that their was too much of a chance for something to break because of the heavy rust. Dealing with rust is a common occurrence where you are from. All of my techs are from Arizona and they do not have much experience with it. I am glad you were able to release it. They did a thorough check of the whole van and replaced things that needed to be done. Very good service and very little wait.
